What is Loofah

Loofah or luffa, scientific name:Luffa cylindrica, is anannual grass in the vine of the genus luffa ,of the department cucurbitaceae native to West Asia and India. Summer-yellow flowers resembling the fall of momordica charantia (bitter melon) and cucumber (cucumber). Water taken from the stem is used as Loofah waters, as the lotion.
