What is Swamp taro

Swamp taro,scientific name: Cyrtosperma spp., is a cultivar of the native to New Guinea, and is a giant evergreen perennial plant of the Araceae department ,of the Cyrtosperma genus. Grass may be 6 m tall, and leaf length be 3 m. Cultivated in the wetlands, including swamps, an enlarged rhizomes is edible with taro. Stems are brownish-red of claws, spines grows upward. Has a large arrowhead-shaped leaves. Monoclinous is flowers, followed closely at the rod meat hanging inflorescences in dark brown. Surrounded by purple brown spathe meat hanging inflorescences.
