What is Yukimochisou

Yukimochisou (scientific name: Arisaema sikokianum) is a perennial plant of the family Araceae native to Part of Honshu (Mie Prefecture, Nara Prefecture) and Shikoku in Japan. It glows in wet forest floors of mountains. In the spring, add 2 leaves to the pseudostem and stretch one flower stem from the center. Leaves are attached to bird feet. Buddha's bract is a purple-brown ground with light-purple brown and white stripes in it, and the tip extends in a caudal shape. Buddha flame bracts are white from the mouth portion to the lower portion. The appendix of the furrow inflorescence enveloped in the Buddha bract is white and its tip bulges like a snow cake and slightly protrudes from the Buddha bract. The origin of flower name was attached from the color and form of a unique accessory. Although it is a dioecious strain, all strains are male strains at the beginning and are sexually converted plants that transform into female strains as they mature. If the condition of the flower is bad, even a female strain changes into a male stock. It is cultivated as a gardening plant from the fun of the accessory.
