Ipomoea multifida, or Momij irukou (Scientific Name: Ipomoea × multifida) is an annual vine plant in the family Convolvulaceae, which is native to tropical America. From summer to autumn, red florets bloom. It is a hybrid of cypress vine(Scientific Name: Ipomoea quamoclit) and Red morning glory (Scientific Name: Ipomoea coccinea). The leaves are similar to maple leaves.
