What is Peruvian apple

Peruvian apple , Kimenkaku, Hedge cactus. Peru cereus, or Cereus peruvianus, (scientific name: Cereus peruvianus), is a large pillar cactus and half-hardy and evergreen perennials native to Brazil and Uruguay that belongs to the family Cactaceae. The green pillar grows about 10-20 m. The column color is green, but it becomes grayish green when it gets older. A long cylindrical flower of about 20 cm blooms on a summer night. The flowers are white, but the outer petals are pink to reddish.
