What is Gunnai-fuuro

Gunnai-fuuro (scientific name:Geranium eriostemon var. reinii) is an alpine perennial plant belonging to the family Geraniaceae, native to Japan. In summer, white to red-purple petals bloom sideways in the alpine grasslands of Hokkaido to Chubu. It is famous for its blooming on Mt. Ibuki.
