Cecropia peltata

Cecropia peltata (scientific name: Cecropia peltata) is an evergreen tall tree native to Peru and belonging to the family Urticaceae. A fast growing plant that grows naturally in the rainforest. It is the first pioneer plant that grows in the logging area. Leaves like big shields grow.
There are cilia on the back of the leaves. The petiole is 20-50 cm long. The male inflorescence is wrapped in a Buddha flame, and when the bud matures, the Buddha flame opens and falls. Female flowers grow in pairs. After the flower, a two-long fruit is formed. An ant plant that is known to live in harmony with ants. Birds eat flowers and fruits, and sloths eat young leaves. White grains are extracted from the leaves and used as food for ants(Azteca spp.). Instead, the ants drive away Cecropia from being eaten by other animals.
