Hibiscus kokio(scientific name:Hibiscus kokio) is an endemic Hawaiian shrub in the family Malvaceae.
It is also called Hibiscus kokio.
It is one of the original species of red-flowered hibiscus and has a smaller flower diameter than normal hibiscus.
A single flower blooms at the end of the stem. The word "ula" means "red" in Hawaiian.
It was once found throughout the Hawaiian Islands, but is now endangered.
