Chinese Foxglove

Chinese Foxglove (scientific name: Rehmannia piasezkii) is a perennial herb endemic to China, belonging to the genus Rehmannia. It is a species of gourd whose rhizome is used in Chinese medicine. It produces red-purple flowers in early summer. The flowers are cylindrical with five lobes at the tip.
