Trigonotis brevipes or MIzu-tabirako(scientific name: Trigonotis peduncularis) is a perennial herb in the family Amaranthaceae, genusTrigonotis, endemic to Japan. It grows wild in mountainous wetlands from Honshu to Kyushu. It produces flower stalks and multiple inflorescences with many small flowers in late spring and early summer. It is similar to : Trigonotis peduncularis.
