Arbutus unedo 'Compacta', (scientific name: Arbutus unedo 'Compacta') is native to Southern Europe and is a dwarf of the strawberry tree (Scientific name: Arbutus unedo), a cold-resistant evergreen medium shrub belonging to the family Ericaceae. It is gardening variety. I like the sun. The tree has a typical tree shape, and the green leaves are shiny. In autumn, tufts of small white / light pink flowers in the shape of cocoons, similar to acebi , lily of the valley, or azalea azalea . In the following fall, round red fruits resembling wild peaches will be fruited, so it can be enjoyed flowers and fruits at the same time.
