Kirengeshoma (scientific name: Kirengeshoma palmata) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Hydrangeaceae family, in the genus Kirengeshoma, native to Japan. The main flower alone makes up one genus and one species. It is found in the mountainous regions of Kinki to Kyushu. The leaves are larger than the flowers and have a circular shape with shallow palmate lobes and pointed lobes, with a height of about 120 cm. The flowers have several sparse yellow trumpet-shaped flowers on the conical inflorescence.
