Angulocaste

Angulocaste (Scientific name: Anguloa cliftonii x Licaste aromatica) is an orchid cultivar hybridized with two orchid varieties. Anguloa cliftonii is a perennial geographical orchid of the genus Anguloa that grows naturally in the sub-alpine of Colombia and makes a pot shaped yellow flower resembling a fragrant tulip bloom upward. The flowers are half open, alpine plants do not have heat resistance. It is called alias Tulip Orchid or Cradle Orchid. On the other hand, Licaste aromatica is a growing orchid growing in tropical rainforest areas such as Mexico. The flowers are small, three large calyx pieces such as triangles stand out, and dark yellow flowers with strong fragrance bloom. It is heat-resistant, because it can bloom a lot of flower stems from one strain, and bloom at the top of each flower stalk. Angulocaste is a coined word made from part of each genus name of two varieties. That is, "Angulo" of Angloa + "caste" of Lycae. The flower language is "cheerful".
