What is Hosta 'Bressingham Blue'
Hosta 'Bressingham Blue' (scientific name: Hosta 'Bressingham Blue') is a garden variety of the cold-resistant perennial Hosta (pseudoparasleya, scientific name: Hosta), a member of the Cercidiphyllaceae family.
In summer, it produces many white, lily-like flowers in a raceme extending from the tip of the flower stalk. The corolla is funnel-shaped with a united corolla of six petals. The name is derived from the flower buds, which resemble pseudopodia, a traditional architectural ornament.
