Mame inutsuge (scientific name: I. crenata f bullata) is a horticultural variety of {{Inutsuge}}. The branches are trimmed and used for topiary material to create geometric, animal and human shapes. It is an evergreen shrub in the family Aquifoliaceae, with white four-petaled flowers in early summer to summer. The leaves are small, oval, shiny green, cortical, fleshy and turned back. Its name comes from the pea-sized leaves of the Japanese boxwood tree. The green fruit forms after the flowers and ripens to black in autumn.
