Peperomia is native to Ecuador ~ Colombia, and is a small evergreen perennial of the family Piperaceae. It is said that there are 1,500 kinds mainly in Central and South America. Small fleshy leaves with roundness are popular as house plants. Flowers are string-shaped ear inflorescence, green flowers are green, tea, yellow and small in size, so there is not much worth seeing. Types of Pepelomia include P. argyreia with silver-white vertical stripes on leaves of green spaces, P. obtsusifolia with shiny and dark green leaves, crowned and creped leaves Capellata with P. caperata, P. serpense for descending, P. fraseri with beautiful white flowers. The genus name "Peperomia" means that it resembles pepper.
