What is Thalictrum intermedium

Thalictrum intermedium or Karamatsuso(scientific name:Thalictrum aquilegifolium var. intermedium) is an endemic species of Japan, which is an alpine fallen leaf perennial of the genus Simulium. It is a wild grass growing naturally in the alpine marsh in Hokkaido - Kyushu. We will have multiple scattered inflorescences at the thin stem tip at midsummer. What looks like a white flower is a collection of white stamens. There are no petals from the beginning. The flower name comes from the fact that the way flowers are attached to the pine needle resembles the way leaves are attached to larch. The leaves wither in autumn. The flower language is "casual tenderness". Although it is said, it is a poisonous grass because it is a flower of the Buttercup family. For poisonous plants, please refer to 【Special issue: poisonous plants】.
