Tofieldia japonica is a perennial grass of the Tofieldiaceae department Tofieldia genus growing on the damp ground in a Japanese endemic species.
It makes a lot of six small white valves flowers bloom in the raceme extended from a flower stalk to autumn from summer. It is said that it is a laborer to prevent that an insect crawling on the place of ants carries away honey and pollen that a stem does an adhesive thing.
