What is Wake robin

Wake robin or Enreisou in Japan (scientific name: Trillium smallii) is a perennial of the family Melanthiaceae from Japan to Sakhara origin. It is a slow growing plant and it will take a long time to flowering. The characteristic of this plant is that it has a rounded rhombus with a large three telescopic leaves directly from the tip of the stem. From spring to early summer, a short floral pattern grows from the base of the flower stem, and red purple sepals appearing in flowers and six stamens, one flamenco with three tears bloom laterally. No flower petals and calendar like petals are attached. Spherical fruits of green or black purple are formed after flowers. The rhizome contains the toxic ingredient saponin, but in China it has long been known as a gastrointestinal medicine called Older Grass Root of Chinese medicine. Those whose calyx color is green are called Toshino Enoshi ((scientific name:Trillium smallii f. album). The flower language is "wisdom." It may be appropriate for a flower that makes quietly one ring of medicinal herbs (also poisonous) bloom over 10 years in the mountains.
