What is Pinellia tripartita

Pinellia tripartita is a perennial grass of the family araceae native to Japan and Hong Kong. Surrounds around the trumpet-shaped spathe, spadix stretched from stem tips in the summer and dense florets. Male flowers occupy in the upper part and female flowers do in the downward of the inflorescence. The appendage which there is head of the spathe is the shape such as a bright green colored and long fishing rod. The leaf does 3 incisions into a a palm form like honewort. The honewort is the having a single wing, however Pinellia tripartitais the having a single wing that a leaf attached at the center. There is pinellia tuberin the pinellia genus elsewhere. Pinellia tripartita is large and does not have the brood bud to a leafstalk, and, as for the leaf, one piece does 3 incisions.
The Pinellia Tuber is small and has a brood bud to a leafstalk, and the leaf consists of three pieces of small leaves. Having a fishing rod resembles Urashimaso (jack-in-the-pulpit) of same family and not same genus .
