What is Gazania rigens

Gazania (scientific name: Gazania rigens) is a garden varieties of Gazania originating from South Africa, semi-cold-resistant perennial of the genus Gusania of the Asteraceae family. In South Africa there are about 15 species of species such as Gazania Gaertn, Gazania rigens is a representative gardening variety and it is compatible with Japan's climate and is distributed. Leaves are lanceolate or linear, they look thick and looks solid. The flower shape is as clear as the medal, and the flower color has a vivid color that makes you awake. Flowers are crowned with head flowers. Flower color is warm color system such as white, yellow, orange and red. Flower diameter is about 4 cm, but there are things in the garden cultivar which will be 7 ~ 10 cm. I prefer sunlight and close flowers in the evening and cloudy days. The flowering period is from May to October for a long period of time, and it is blooming in the garden and the flower beds of the park. Flower name is a Latin notation of the last name of Greek researcher Gaza (Theodorus Gaza) which translated classic books into Latin. The flower language is "I am proud of you." The origin of the flower language is based on the fact that the shape of the flower looks like a medal.
