What is Lysimachia japonica

Lysimachia japonica or Konasubi (scientific name: Lysimachia japonica) is native to Japan, China, Taiwan, Indochina and Malaysia and it is a perennial plant of the family Primulaceae. It is a wildflower found in roadside and grasslands throughout Japan. A lot of vellus hair is growing on the surface of the stem and leaves, and the stem crawls the ground. The leaves have a broad egg shape and are attached to the living things. In the early summer, a very short floral pattern comes out from the axil and blooms one by one small yellow five flower flowers on both sides. Flowers like small eggplants are turned upward after flowers. I add a nasbi to the flower name, but it is not a solanaceae but a plant of the family Primulae. Eggplant flowers are purple, but the flower of Lysimachia is yellow, flower color and flower shape are not similar. It is the origin of the name that fruit shapes are similar. It is said that there is medicinal effect against stomach pain.
