Star fruit (Scientific name: Averrhoa carambola) is a native tropical Asian country such as Malaysia, Java Island, etc. It is an evergreen middle tall tree of a tropical fruit tree in the family Oxalidaceae. It is grown mainly in Southeast Asia and in temperate regions with high humidity. Leaves are attached to odd feather-like compound leaves, each leaf shape is needle-shaped, and 9 to 11 sheets are attached to one leaf. In the summer, flowers of multiple rings with white outside and thin inside can be bloomed. The fruit after the flower is yellow, with five ridges, the section cut into a star is a star shape. The flower name was named from the cut shape of the fruit. The flesh is sour and has a taste similar to pear. Slice it thinly and make it raw or salad.
