Sisyrinchium rosulatum

Sisyrinchium rosulatum, Annual blue-eyed grasses, (scientific name:Sisyrinchium rosulatum) is native to southeastern North America, such as Texas, and is an annual wildflower of the family Iridaceae. It is a naturalized plant, commonly found on roadside grasslands. The stem has a flat shape, the leaves are sword-like, and the stem is held at the base. In early summer, a small purple-red or white six-six-colored flower (a flower with six flower covers) blooms at the tip of the flower stem. The flowers are all day long and wither in the evening.
A similar flower is Sisyrinchium micranthum.
