Liatris spicata (scientific name; Liatris spicata) is a hardy perennial of the Asteraceae Liatris genus native to Eastern North America. Flower heads out of long spikes in the summer, a small five-petaled flowers of violet. Flowers from flowers in bloom towards the bottom.
