What is Acalypha cat tail

Acalypha cat tail (Scientific name: Acalypha reptans) is native to the West Indies and is non-cold-resistant evergreen perennial of the family Euphorbiaceae. The leaves are green and soft and there are serrated teeth on the leaf edge. It is a low plant , and it makes the red soft flower bloom upward from spring to late autumn. There are no petals in the flowers, and many stamens gather to form a spiked inflorescence. It is also called the name of academic reptans (scientific name: Acalypha reptans). Uses are potted plants, flower beds, hanging baskets. The Japanese name is based on the fact that flower resembles the tail of a cat.
