The leaves are green and soft and there are serrated teeth on the leaf edge. It is a low plant , and it makes the red soft flower bloom upward from spring to late autumn. There are no petals in the flowers, and many stamens gather to form a spiked inflorescence. It is also called the name of academic reptans (scientific name: Acalypha reptans).
