Astrantia major

Astrantia major, Astrantia , or Great masterwor (scientific name: Astrantia major) is a cold-resistant perennial herb belonging to the family Apiaceae , originated from central and eastern Europe. The leaves with long petiole are palm-shaped. The flower stem branches off at the top, and small star-shaped flowers bloom from early summer to early autumn. There are red, white or pink flower colors. However, the ones that look like petals are calyxes. The real flowers are small cylindrical flowers that are concentrated in the center.
