Boronia heterophylla

Boronia heterophylla (scientific name: Boronia heterophylla) is a semi-hardy evergreen shrub of the genus Boronia in the family Rutaceae, endemic to Western Australia.
It is also known as pygmy lantern, red boronia, and Kalgan boronia. In Australia , it grows wild in dry forests. The tree is 1 to 3 meters tall and bears cool, pinnate compound leaves in pairs. Inflorescences grow from slender branches, and in late spring to early summer, small, bell-shaped flowers with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm, similar to those of Lily of the Valley or Suzuran (scientific name: Convallaria keiskei) , are produced. The flowers and leaves have a sweet citrus scent.
