Chrysanthemum japonicum

Chrysanthemum japonicum (scientific name: Chrysanthemum japonicum) is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae family. It blooms in the mountains of Honshu (Fukushima Prefecture and southwards), Shikoku, and Miyazaki Prefecture (Kyushu). The plant is 30-50 cm tall and stands dependably. The leaves are 4 to 8 cm long, elliptic, and have serrated edges. A single flower, 2.5 to 5 cm in diameter, blooms at the stem end in October or November. The bracts are single-lobed.
