What is Echinopsis eyriesii

Echinopsis eyriesii or Tangemaru (scientific name: Echinopsis eyriesii) is native to southern Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, and is a hermit of the family Caryophyllales. In the place of origin, it grows naturally from lowland to mountainous plains and hills. It is a popular spherical cactus that blooms at night. At first, the young plant grows in a spherical shape with a diameter of about 15 cm and blooms on a summer night. When grown, the stock becomes elongated and then becomes cylindrical after 4-5 years.
The stock color is dark green with 9-18 ribs, round rings on the ribs and 10-18 short spines.
