What is Eucharis × grandiflora

Eucharis grandiflora (scientific name: Eucharis × grandflora) is native to western Colombia and western Ecuador (Andes mountains in the upper stream of the Amazon River) and is a non-cold-resistant evergreen bulb plant of the family Amaryllidaceae. It is a natural hybrid of Eucharis moorei and E. sanderi. Because it is growing upstream of the Amazon River, it is called another name Amazon Lily. It is similar to the gardening variety Eucharis amazonica (Eucharis amazonica) and is often confused. Root raw leaves growing from elongated bulbs are deep green and have wide elliptical shapes resembling giboshi, with 2 to 4 stems attached per stem. Long bulbs standing upright from the leaves are extended, scattered inflorescences are extended from the tip, and 3 to 6 flowers of pure white flowers bloom tend to descend. The flower tube part is a funnel shape, the tip is deep-severed 6, it becomes an elliptical flower piece and it is flat. 6 stamens are coalesced in the throat of the flower tube and it becomes a cup shape and rises up into a secondary corolla shape. The inside of the flower tube part is a light yellow-green color and there is fragrance. The grass shape is similar to {{lily}} and {{daffodils}}. Potted flowers are distributed in winter, but some are greenhouse cultivated. It is used for cut flowers and wedding bouquets. "Eucharis" in the genus name means "eu (good)" + "charis (caritas, attract)" in Greek. "Species grandiflora" is a meaning of "big flowers".
