Komayumi tree

Komayumi tree(Scientific name: Euonymus alatus f. cilatodentatus) is a cold-hardy deciduous broad-leaved shrub native to Japan and China, belonging to the family Nymphaeaceae. It grows wild in the mountains and fields from Hokkaido to Kyushu. The plant is dioecious. It is a wingless variety of the elderberry family. It produces light yellow-green four-petaled flowers in early summer. The leaves change color beautifully in autumn.
