What is Hibiscus
Hibiscus (scientific name: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, Hibiscus hybrids) is a shrub of the genus Hibiscus in the family Malvaceae , native to Vanuatu. The scientific name "Hibiscus rosa-sinensis" means "Rose of China." Originally, there was no hibiscus in Europe, so it was named after its resemblance to a rose when it first came to China. It is also called "busouge" or "hibiscus.
