Miko hydrangea

Miko hydrangea (Maiko hydrangea, scientific name: Hydorangea serrata f. Belladonna or Hydrangea serrata ‘Maiko’) is a deciduous shrub of the genus Hydrangea, native to Mie Prefecture. It is the original species of hydrangea. The branches are thin and the oval leaves are slightly thin and not glossy. A variant of Hydrangea serrata It is rare that the inflorescence is almost only decorative flowers and no bisexual flowers. The flower color changes over time from white to light pink to light blue at the beginning of bloom. There are saw blades on the leaves.
