Ixora coccinea

One of Myanmar's national flower

Ixora Coccinea (scientific name: Ixora coccinea) is a tropical evergreen shrub of Santonca genus of the Rubiaceae family in Indian origin. In Japanese name it is safflower suntanka (safflower mountain flower). It is a member of Santanka, and it scatters the floret where the tip of the orange or peach colored corolla is cleaved 4. The leaves are small and slender. A red little fruit becomes after the flower and it becomes ripe and black as the days go by
Issokkokkinaaa is similar to Santanka, but the fact that the tip of the flower piece is pointed elliptical and that the leaves are small is different.
