What is Black Medic

Black Medic (scientific name: Medicago lupulina) is native to Europe and is a naturalized annual plant in the family Fabaceae. In spring, 20 to 30 small yellow flowers bloom in clusters in a spherical shape on the inflorescence that grows from the flower stalk. It was imported as a grass for horses and other animals and later became wild. The leaves are green and have mildly serrated edges. This flower is similar to Trifolium dubium.
