What is Rebunshiogama

Reven shiogama (scientific name: Pedicularis chamissonis var. Rebunensis) is a unique species of Rebun Island and is a semi-parasitic alpine perennial of the family Orobanchaceae. From the early summer to the summer, stem inflorescences are stretched from the vertical flower stalks, and light purple flowers are bloomed in 10 rounds. Flowers bloom from bottom to top. In total, the leaves of 'Yotsuba Shiorama' (japonica) are rotated by 4 pieces, whereas 'Revenue Shogama' (rebunensis) leaves 5 to 6 pieces.
