Le Lectier (scientific name: Pyrus pyrifoli) is a variety of Western pear native to France. In Japan, it is grown and shipped in Niigata Prefecture.
It was bred and introduced by Le Lectier in France in 1882 by crossing Bartlett with Fortuny. The yellow fruit in autumn is edible as a fruit.
