Rhododendron arborenum (scientific name: Rhododendron arborenum) is an evergreen tall tree in the family Ericaceae, native to Southeast Asia to southern China, including the Himalayas and Nepal. It is considered to be the largest rhododendron in the world. It is also known as Himalayan rhododendron and Tree Rhododendron in English.

It is the national flower of Nepal. The tree is 10-20 m tall with brownish-brown bark. The leaves are dark green, leathery, 6-15 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, oblong-elliptic, and borne on the branches in alternate clusters. It is dioecious, and produces scattered, racemose inflorescences from April to May with 15 to 20 hemispherical flowers consisting of numerous clusters of red, pink, or white bell-shaped flowers 4 to 5 cm in diameter. It is used as a garden tree, potted plant, and for medicinal purposes.
