Zingiber Newmanii, Red Frogs Ginger (scientific name: Zingiber Newmanii) is a tropical perennial herbaceous plant of the genus Zingiber in the family Zingiberaceae, native to Thailand.
It has a rhizome. It has a conspicuous inflorescence with multiple layers of red bracts resembling pine cones. The flowers, which are white on the outside and densely spotted with reddish purple on the inside, bloom from between the bracts.
