What is Scallion

Scallions or wakegi (Scientific name: Allium wakegi) is a bulbous plant of the amaryllidaceae native to Greece and green onions as miniaturized (perennial). Hybrid leeks and onions in the aboveground leaves and stems in leek, similar to resemble onion bulbs with reddish-brown ground.
粘々 less than the onion, mild in aroma and flavor, soft and thin, so finely carved or seasoning boiled Aoyagi, and sprinkling nut, eat. Also has been used in Korea food pancake. Yielded little flowers, bulb-ball and more.
