What is Myosotis scorpioide
Myosotis scorpioide ,aka: forget-me-nots (Scientific Name: Myosotis scorpioide) is an evergreen perennial that is native to Europe and belongs to the family Boraginaceae. The stem is upright. Scarlet vellus hair grows on the stem and leaves. The leaves are green, oval and 2-5 cm long. The leaves are larger than the flowers of 1 cm or less. From spring to summer, the scorpioid cymes (scorpion type inflorescence) is extended from the tip of the flower stem, and several flowers in shape rotate shaped bloom. The tip of the petal is 5 deep, so it looks like a 5-petal flower. Flower colors are bluish purple, pink, and white. The central base of the flower is yellow. It is popular as an ornamental plant such as a garden plant or potted plant.
