Viburnum tinus, commonly called as Laurustinus or Tokiwa Gamazumi (Scientific Name: Viburnum tinus) is native to the Mediterranean coast, and is a cold-resistant evergreen shrub of the family Adoxaceae. From November to April, inflate vermillion buds and white fragrant flowers bloom. The egg-shaped fruits ripen dark purple from October to November overlapping with flowering. Fruits are used for flower arrangements and cut flowers.
