Narow leaf anacharis (scientific name: Egeria najas) is native to South America of Brazil - Uruguay, is an evergreen submerged perennial of the genus Melonaceae. It is a member of Anacharis (Egeria densa), which is contained in Japan as a naturalized plant, breeding with lakes other than Hokkaido and river water. The height of the plant is 50 cm, the leaves are lanceolate, the leaf height is 2 cm, the width is 0.2 cm, there are saw teeth on the leaf edge. The flowers appearing on the water are white 3 flowers and pollinate with insects. The genus Egeria is the name of a fairy of Roman mythology, species nomination najas is attributed to the name of the water fairy of Greek mythology.
