What is Victoria cruziana

Victoria cruziana,Water platter or Santa Cruz water lily (scientific name: Victoria cruziana) is native from Paraguay to Argentina and is an aquatic annual plant of the family Lilyaceae. It features a huge floating leaf naturally growing in the Amazon River basin, wound up and crimped. Flowering in the evening and early in the morning, flower color changes from white to pink. There is another Victoria amazonica(Oh-onibasu) in the genus Olonibus. The big difference between them is that the back color of the leaves which stood up like a stagger is the red brown color of V. cruziana (Paraguayan onibasu), the color of V. cruziana (Paraguay onibasu) is green, the spruce has a spin in the calyx of V. amazonica (Oh-onibasu), however the thorns in the calya of V.cruziana(Paraguayan onimus).
