Tabebuia chrysotricha or Golden trumpet tree , scientific name:Tabebuia chrysotricha , is native to Colombia to Brazil, and it is a deciduous middle trees of the family Bignoniaceae. Leaves are palmar compound leaves, when the flowers are over, the sprouts will emerge and new leaves develop. Leaves fall in winter, and in summer 5 to 10 trumpet-shaped yellow flowers are blooming, expanding the inflorescences into branches without leaves. I will put on a pod with big beans after flowers. The sheath contains a lot of seeds with feathers and spreads with the wind.
Besides yellow, flower color is white, pink, purple and so on. There is Pink tecoma (scientific name: Tabebuia rosea) in the same flower.
