What is Chloranthus serratus

Chloranthus serratus or called Futari Shizuka in Japanese (Scientific name: Chloranthus serratus) is a perennial plant of the family Chloranthaceae native to Japan, the Korean peninsula, and China. In early summer, it grows wild in the dim mountainous areas of Hokkaido-Kyushu. Make at least two spikelets from the stem end and bloom white small flowers of rice grain size.
