What is Pea

Pea (scientific name: Pisum sativum) is native to Mesopotamia and is a hardy annual or 2 year's plant in the Fabaceae. It is a plant used in Mendel's law. Beans and young beans are eaten as vegetables, and ripe beans are eaten as cereals. The white flowers come on, the young beans are used for cooking as green peas, the young beans in the pot are used as green pea, and the mature beans are harvested as grains. Young stems and leaves are used in cooking as Chinese vegetables as bean seedlings (Tumiao). For beans, soybean, Broad beans (scientific name:Vicia faba) etc.
