💧Kalmia's Dewdrop Poem “Opening, the Door to the Stars”
by Aqua
When I was a bud,
I didn't know yet.
That this world
was filled with so much light.
On the gently unfurling petals,
star-like patterns emerge.
It was
the map of hope
that lay within me.
So that it might
gently light someone's heart.
I bloom.

In Spring they let spread the inflorescences from the branches and add a lot of pale pink florets.
Flowers are plump when they are buds, and become shallow cylindrical pentagons when flowering.

In the case of Kalmia Osbo Red, the outside of the bud and petals is bright red and the inside is white.
