What is Red clover
Red clover (scientific name: Trifolium pratense) is native to Southern Europe,and is a perennial grass of the family Fabaceae. Lovely flowers that gathered many reddish purple florets and became spherical are blooming. Thin hair grows on the leaf stem, and there is white V-shaped spotle in the center of the leaf. The number of leaves is usually made up of three, but rarely four are also available. Originally it was imported as grass such as chicken and rabbit, but then dissipated and became wild. The flower language is "Goodness and merriment". The genus name "Trifolium" is "treis (3)" + "folium (= leaf)" means leaves are from three bud, "pratense" means "pratensis". There are similar White clover (scientific name: Trifolium pratense) in different flowers. Plant height is higher in purple grass (T. pratense) than white grass (T. repens).
